POEM: In A World Like This by James Oboba

Life is a battle against challenges

I have trained my arms to bend steel

I girded my waist with strength

   I have acquired diverse tactics

   I starved my belly

   I also fed my belly

I did all of these to win this battle

Yet I found myself loosing in many

   Many times I cowered

My muscles lose tenacity by the day

   No reason to wish eterniy

   In a world like this

Ogechi my love

Ever since I met you

You make the rain shower on me

Fertilizing my deserts

You become to me a covering

Shielding me from the scorching rays

of life

You become to me rivers of strength

Multiplying my tenacity by the day

To win more of the battles against life

Ogechi my love

Ever since I met you

My whole life changed

It’s always being flood

Flood not of disasters

But flood of happiness

For this I dedicate my heart to you

My unborn daughters we have your

I shall walk you down the isle

In holy matrimony

On your next birthday

My love

Ever since I met you

I found endless reasons

To wish eternity

In a world like this

1. The clitoris is right there. Yes, right there. Not over here, not down there, not off to the side. It doesn’t move. Try to stay focused and play with the clit!

  1. Take your socks off. Not a single thing is sexy about a man who is naked except for his socks.

  2. Lubricant, lubricant, lubricant. We may feel “so wet” to you from our own fluids, but we actually need to be pretty drenched with water-based lube for business time.

  3. Talk dirty to me. Some women become very aroused by their imaginations, so a little dirty talk about what you’re going to do to us stimulates our biggest sex organ: our brain! (But avoid these 36 words that kill the moment.)

  4. Get it wet. If you’re going down on us, make sure to keep your tongue wet with spit. A dry tongue chafes down there!

  5. Watch your hands. Unless we have expressly indicated that to be tweaked, do not pinch our nipples in the heat of the moment. They’re very, very sensitive!

  6. Sometimes a light touch is better than a strong one. And a sweet kiss with just your lips is better than a Labrador retriever-style kiss with your tongue.

  7. Nibble away. We absolutely adore when you gently, tenderly suckle on our fingers (or our toes, for men with mouths of asbestos).

  8. Stop stressing’. That look of concentration on your face makes it seem like you’re doing calculations in your head, not making love. Smile a little bit, why don’t you?

  9. Don’t forget the tits. Nipples should be a pit stop on the way to Vagina ville—get off the express train!

How To Prevent A Breakup From Happening in relationship by aisha galadima.

Dealing with a break up is often a difficult experience for both parties, and trying to salvage a relationship from the brink is a tricky process with no quick fix available. I frequently advise that addressing some of the fundamental issues below within a relationship can make the difference and prevent a breakup.

Whilst exhibiting love for your partner is a requisite for a healthy relationship and by no means a negative thing, this should not be confused with neediness, which is a different beast altogether.

If you have ever experienced any of the following then you, along with many others, may have fallen victim to the neediness bug:

Having all your own plans dictated by what your man feels like doing?

Feeling unable to enjoy time away from your man?

Feeling that you need constant emotional support?

Getting all your validation from your man’s compliments or attention?

To prevent a breakup it is important that a healthy, balanced relationship is maintained, and If you fall prey to the neediness bug then you will never be fulfilled by your relationship, as the bug will never be satisfied.

No matter how many compliments you receive, you will only ever take from the relationship. From a man or a woman’s perspective this is real issue that often leads to breaking up.

To prevent a breakup caused by neediness:
Don’t let relationships overtake your life
Don’t neglect your friends, hobbies or health

Remember that a relationship can be an important component in your life, but never the only component.

Break ups are often caused by a unbalanced relationship, where both partners don’t see each other as equals.

Has your relationship become one sided? Do you feel like you are constantly trying to meet your partner’s needs?

Or alternatively, are you bored because all he seems to do is try to please you?
If yes, then it is important to redress the balance. Restore balance to the relationship by making more ‘couple’ time to do things for each other.

Alternatively if you feel you are always trying to please him then hold back on the affection and make it clear that until he makes time for your needs he won’t be getting your love.

This can manifest itself in many negative ways within a relationship, including:
Not caring about your appearance
No more fun dates
Taking each other for granted
No more effort in your sex life
No more “Just him and you time”
Lack of affection – kissing / cuddling

Even just having a proper conversation can be jettisoned through laziness, where time spent with each other is dominated by the everyday motions such as kids, work and logistics. This replaces the themes of dreams, books, politics, the world, aspirations etc, that were part of the reason behind your initial attraction to one another.

To prevent a break up it is important that you don’t both become victims of inertia, just going through them options because you both feel secure that your partner isn’t going anywhere. This gradually takes its toll, as the variety and spice within a relationship can be lost.

Ultimately this will lead to you or your partner associating the relationship / marriage with boredom, which can be the main reason behind cheating.

WITH VIDEO: 4 Things You Must Give Up to Move Forward

Giving up doesn’t always mean you’re weak or wrong in any way.  Sometimes it simply means you’re strong enough and smart enough to let go and move forward with your life.

Give Up to Move Forward (video transcript):
1.  First and foremost, give up the excuses you keep reciting to yourself.
Because all the excuses and explanations in the world won’t do you any good.  They won’t add any value to your life or improve the quality of it by even the slightest margin.

To fulfill your calling and get where you wish to go in life requires more than just thinking and talking.  These feats require focused and sustained action.  And the good news is, you’re perfectly capable of taking whatever action is necessary.  You just have to choose to actually do it.

No one else can succeed for you on your behalf.  The life you live is the life you build for yourself.  There are so many possibilities to choose from, and so many opportunities for you to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.  Now is the moment to actually step forward.

Sooner or later, one way or the other, you will come to realize that it’s not what you lose along the way that counts; it’s what you do with what you still have.  When you let go of the past, forgive what needs forgiving, and move forward, you in no way change the past, you change the future.

2.  Once you’re over the excuses, give up the idea that you don’t have what it takes.
You do have exactly what it takes.  Will it be easy?  Absolutely not!  Nobody is going to blindside you and hit you as hard as life will.

Sometimes life will beat you to the ground, and keep you there if you let it.  But it’s not about how hard life can hit you; it’s about how hard you can be hit and continue to move forward.  That’s what true strength is.  And that’s what winning the game of life is all about.  So keep going.

In the end, all the small things make a big difference.  Every step is crucial.  Life isn’t about a single moment of great triumph and attainment.  It’s about the trials and errors that slowly get you there – the blood, the sweat, the tears, and the small, inconsequential things you do on a day-to-day basis.  It all matters in the end – every step, every regret, every decision, and every affliction.

The seemingly useless happenings add up to something.  The minimum wage job you had in high school.  The evenings you spent socializing with coworkers you never see anymore.

The hours you spent writing thoughts on a personal blog that no one reads.  Contemplations about elaborate future plans that never came to be.  All those lonely nights spent reading novels and news columns and comics strips and fashion magazines and questioning your own principles on life and sex and religion and whether or not you’re good enough just the way you are.

All of this has strengthened you.  All of this has led you to every success you’ve ever had.   All of this has made you who you are today.  And all of this proves that you have the strength to deal with the challenges in front of you.

3.  Give up focusing on what’s wrong, and start noticing what’s right….
What you see often depends entirely on what you are looking for.  Do your best and surrender the rest.  When you stay stuck in regret of the life you think you should have had, you end up missing the beauty of what you actual do have.  You will have a hard time ever being happy if you aren’t thankful for the good things in your life right now.

And you do not need ideal circumstances to move forward.  The happiest and most successful people do not live with a certain set of circumstances, but rather with a certain set of attitudes.

Choosing to be positive and grateful for what you have now is going to determine how you’re going to live the rest of your life.  So look for something positive about today.  Even if you have to look a little harder than usual, it still exists.

So don’t wait until everything is just right; it will never be perfect.  There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions.  So what!  Get started now!  With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger.  Say it out loud:

“I am determined to live a happy life no matter what my challenges are!  I will turn all my tales of fury into tales of glory!  I will turn all of my tales of woe into tales of WOW!”  And no matter what happens, just do your best and appreciate what you’re learning.  You won’t enjoy your life if you don’t enjoy your challenges.

4.  Give up the tendency to get too caught up in other people’s judgments and opinions….
Honestly, the biggest prison you will likely ever live in is your fear of what other people think.  You cannot let other people tell you who you are or what you want.  You have to decide that for yourself.

When you’re making big decisions, remember, what you think of yourself and your life is more important than what people think of you.  Don’t let others make you feel guilty for living YOUR life.  As long as you’re not hurting anyone else, live it YOUR way.

The key here is to remember that it’s OK to listen to others sometimes, but not at the full expense of your own intuition.  Because throughout your lifetime there will be many times when the world gets real quiet and the only thing left is the beat of your own heart.  So you’d better learn the sound of it, otherwise you’ll never understand what it’s telling you.

The bottom line is that when you spend too much time concentrating on everyone else’s perception of you, or who everyone else wants you to be, you eventually forget who you truly are.  So don’t fear the judgments of others; you know in your heart who you are and what’s true to you.  You don’t have to be someone else to impress people.  Let these people be impressed by who you really are.

Honestly, what does life matter if you lose yourself along the way?  Even your mentors should teach you HOW to think, not WHAT to think.  So if someone – anyone – is belittling your truth, it might be time to turn the other way.  (Marc and I discuss this in detail in the “Relationships”

Your turn…
If you feel like you’re stuck, or struggling to make progress, know that you are not alone.  We are all in this together.  However, there is also a good chance you’re holding on to something that’s holding you back.  Which means you might be able to make things easier on yourself if you give this “something” up.

In fact, whenever Marc and I find ourselves running in place, we make it a point to evaluate our present situation, and then we ask ourselves questions like, “What’s holding us back?” and “Is there something we need to let go of, or give up, before we can move forward again?”

Today we challenge you to do the same.  Please leave a comment below and let us know:  What are you holding on to right now that’s holding you back?

21-Year Old Boy Jilted By Lover Commits Suicide

A 21-year-old boy, Effiong Otu a student of Maritime Academy Oron, has committed suicide on Thursday, 10th of July, 2014 because his girlfriend jilted him.

Ironically, the 10th of July was also the 10th anniversary of his father’s death in a car accident. After the family prayed and marked the anniversary, his mother left for work.

Effiong later went to one of their neighbours to borrow a rope, locked his room door and committed the act. Before neighbours could figure out what he did with the rope, he had already hanged himself. His room door was later forced to open, and they met his body dangling from the rope he had used for the suicide.

One of his friends who also rushed to the scene said the 21-year old called him before committing the act, that he should tell his girlfriend, blessing, that she should now be happy that he has killed himself for her.

His last Facebook post also shows he has been depressed.
