According to the report, the lady had the new STD ‘superbug’ which led to the growth of maggots in her vagina.
Well another story has emerged which revealed that it was due to gross medical negligence at a government hospital in India. After giving birth, the gauze used to stop the bleeding was left inside her and it decayed, causing a serious infection which resulted in the flesh-eating maggots infestation.
The 22-year-old victim had found the found flesh eating maggots crawling down her legs, 10 days after giving birth and was immediately taken to a hospital in Hadapsar by her husband.
Recounting her experience, the victim said: “It was very painful. Initially, we thought it was normal to feel sore, but when I saw maggots, we were alarmed and went to the doctor straight away. The reason we did not file a complaint of medical negligence is because we are from a different state and I don’t even know any language other than Oriya. My husband does not have enough time and resources to fight the case.”
Doctors immediately removed the gauze swab, maggots and gave her antibiotics.

The Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) on Friday said that 250 companies were shut down in 2013 for not remitting their workers’ personal income tax to government.
Mrs Folasade Coker-Afolayan, Head, Distrain Unit of LIRS, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that the companies withheld N2.7 billion personal income tax of workers.
She said that the defaulting companies’ tax liabilities were for periods ranging one to six years.
According to her, the companies which failed to remit the tax in 2013 were higher by 100 per cent over the defaulters in 2012.
“In 2012, we sealed 120 companies for failing to remit N450 million, but last year 250 companies were sealed for not remitting N2.7 billion,” she said.
She described tax enforcement by the Lagos State Government as very successful, stressing that tax payment was a civic responsibility of all.
Coker-Afolayan urged companies to remit their workers’ personal income tax promptly in 2014 to avoid being shut.
“Prompt payment of tax will enable the government provide the necessary infrastructure and improve the standard of living of the people,” she said.
Coker-Afolayan also advised tax payers to cooperate with the tax officers, stressing that it was an offence to assault tax officials.

Gunmen, suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, in a midnight raid on Thursday wiped out a family of seven at Manyi Akuru village, a suburb of Manchok town in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Manchok in Kaura LGA is about 200km South of Kaduna, the state capital, had in recent time witnessed ethnic and communal clashes.
It was learnt that the suspected Fulani herdsmen had stormed Manchok town around midnight and killed the seven members of the family.
The assailants, it was gathered, fled into the bush after the killings.
The development, our correspondent gathered, further angered the youth of Manchok, who then mobilised and attacked a Fulani settlement close to the town.
But a detachment of the Army stationed around the area averted the an imminent bloodbath.
Though, no official confirmation from the police in Kaduna, a policeman in the community, who pleaded not to be named because he was not permitted to talk to the press on the matter, confirmed the attack.
He also added that there was a likelihood of an increase in the death toll.
Besides that, the incident forced the state governor, Muktar Yero, to visit Manchok for an on-the-spot assessment of the attack.
It was gathered that while the governor was addressing the youth and elders of the communities, another attack was said to have been launched against a nearby village where several people were said to have lost their lives.
