POEM: In A World Like This by James Oboba

  IN A WORLD LIKE THIS

Life is a battle against challenges

I have trained my arms to bend steel

I girded my waist with strength

   I have acquired diverse tactics

   I starved my belly

   I also fed my belly

I did all of these to win this battle

Yet I found myself loosing in many

   ways

   Many times I cowered

My muscles lose tenacity by the day

   No reason to wish eterniy

   In a world like this

Ogechi my love

Ever since I met you

You make the rain shower on me

Fertilizing my deserts

You become to me a covering

Shielding me from the scorching rays

of life

You become to me rivers of strength

Multiplying my tenacity by the day

To win more of the battles against life

Ogechi my love

Ever since I met you

My whole life changed

It’s always being flood

Flood not of disasters

But flood of happiness

For this I dedicate my heart to you

My unborn daughters we have your

heart

I shall walk you down the isle

In holy matrimony

On your next birthday

My love

Ever since I met you

I found endless reasons

To wish eternity

In a world like this

SEX TIPS TO PLEASE YOUR WOMAN by maturedmind.

1. The clitoris is right there. Yes, right there. Not over here, not down there, not off to the side. It doesn’t move. Try to stay focused and play with the clit!

  1. Take your socks off. Not a single thing is sexy about a man who is naked except for his socks.

  2. Lubricant, lubricant, lubricant. We may feel “so wet” to you from our own fluids, but we actually need to be pretty drenched with water-based lube for business time.

  3. Talk dirty to me. Some women become very aroused by their imaginations, so a little dirty talk about what you’re going to do to us stimulates our biggest sex organ: our brain! (But avoid these 36 words that kill the moment.)

  4. Get it wet. If you’re going down on us, make sure to keep your tongue wet with spit. A dry tongue chafes down there!

  5. Watch your hands. Unless we have expressly indicated that to be tweaked, do not pinch our nipples in the heat of the moment. They’re very, very sensitive!

  6. Sometimes a light touch is better than a strong one. And a sweet kiss with just your lips is better than a Labrador retriever-style kiss with your tongue.

  7. Nibble away. We absolutely adore when you gently, tenderly suckle on our fingers (or our toes, for men with mouths of asbestos).

  8. Stop stressing’. That look of concentration on your face makes it seem like you’re doing calculations in your head, not making love. Smile a little bit, why don’t you?

  9. Don’t forget the tits. Nipples should be a pit stop on the way to Vagina ville—get off the express train!

10 REASON WHY YOU NEED A BEST FRIEND by aisha galadima

We all know how important friends are. There are friends we go for coffee with, friends we shop with and friends we head to the gym with. But despite having a pal for every occasion, having a best friend is a huge bonus in life.

  1. Comfort
A best friend is someone you don’t have to fill in the blanks with. They already know all the inner details of your life. “It’s like picking up a book and knowing exactly where you left off,”

  2. Connectedness
One of our most basic fears is being alone, Whether your best friend is around the corner or in another time zone, just knowing she is there provides comfort. “It gives you a sense of being connected and not just free-floating in space,” So if you find yourself feeling isolated, whether physically or emotionally, pick up the phone and call your closest pal. Both of you will feel better for it.

  3. Unconditional support
You have yet to shower or even brush your hair and your best friend calls. She’s upset and wants you to come over right away. What do you do? You get in the car without even changing — because you don’t have to. Best friends have seen us at our best and worst, and they love us either way. It’s important to have someone in our lives we feel totally at ease with.

  4. Self-esteem boost
Good friends help us to develop our self-esteem, Having someone in our life who thinks we are important — someone who wants our opinion on things and who values our company — makes us feel wanted, boosting self-esteem,” she explains.

  5. Honest opinions
Best friends will also be totally honest with us, They know you well and are able to tell it like it is. So thank your best friend the next time she looks you in the eye, shakes her head and suggests you rethink a possibly silly decision. She’s got your best interests at heart.

  6. A fresh perspective
We are all individuals, with different experiences and opinions, but having a best friend to share things with can help us learn new things about ourselves. The things they share with us can open our eyes to new ideas and ways to think about the world around us, bringing a fresh perspective to a problem, things have a better chance of changing,” best friends can help us find those “A-ha!” moments that lead to solving problems.

  7. Life lessons
When a close friend does something you disagree with, you’re more likely to confront them and discuss what has upset you than if it’s a person you aren’t as familiar with. Getting through this with a close friend helps to prepare you for other times in life where you will need to face a difficult situation.m

  8. Loyalty
Loyalty means never having to worry about someone spilling your secrets or talking about you behind your back. Best friends equal built-in trus.

Most likely, you’ve spent years building your bond, which just gets stronger over time. “A loyal friend will be on your team no matter what. They will be honest with you, but won’t betray you,” she says.

  9. Personal growth
Having a best friend means sharing experiences.

Sometimes, when we get stuck in our own routines, it’s nice to hear about what other people are doing. “A close friend of mine who didn’t have kids opened my eyes to new things,” Often we can live vicariously through our close friends and learn about things we may not have thought about doing.

  10. The best sounding board
One of the greatest things about having a best friend is being able to share — everything. They are the ones to whom we tell things we wouldn’t dream of telling anyone else — our greatest fears and biggest mistakes. Being able to share these intimate details about our lives helps to normalize whatever has happened,

“Fear or discomfort is diffused when you share it with a friend,” she says.

Importance of Sleep : Six reasons not to scrimp.

A recent survey found that more people are sleeping less than six hours a night, and sleep difficulties visit 75% of us at least a few nights per week. A short-lived bout of insomnia is generally nothing to worry about.

The bigger concern is chronic sleep loss, which can contribute to health problems such as weight gain, high blood pressure, and a decrease in the immune system’s power, reports the Harvard Women’s Health Watch.

While more research is needed to explore the links between chronic sleep loss and health, it’s safe to say that sleep is too important to shortchange.

1.Learning and memory: Sleep helps the brain commit new information to memory through a process called memory consolidation. In studies, people who’d slept after learning a task did better on tests later.

2.Metabolism and weight: Chronic sleep deprivation may cause weight gain by affecting the way our bodies process and store carbohydrates, and by altering levels of hormones that affect our appetite.

3.Safety: Sleep debt contributes to a greater tendency to fall asleep during the daytime. These lapses may cause falls and mistakes such as medical errors, air traffic mishaps, and road accidents.

4.Mood: Sleep loss may result in irritability, impatience, inability to concentrate, and moodiness. Too little sleep can also leave you too tired to do the things you like to do.

5.Cardiovascular health: Serious sleep disorders have been linked to hypertension, increased stress hormone levels, and irregular heartbeat.

6.Disease: Sleep deprivation alters immune function, including the activity of the body’s killer cells. Keeping up with sleep may also help fight cancer.
